Riverdale City Zoning and Land Use Code Update

Riverdale City has recently completed an update to its General Plan—a long-term vision for the future of our community. During this process, we identified several outdated regulations, inconsistencies, and gaps within our existing land use ordinances that could prevent us from achieving the goals outlined in the plan.

 

To ensure Riverdale continues to grow in a way that reflects the needs and values of our residents, the City is launching a comprehensive review and update of its zoning and land use ordinances. Proposed changes will be considered for adoption by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
